Current Vacancy - Office Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a varied and interesting role in a small but vibrant digital marketing agency in central Leeds.

There is flexibility in both the job description and hours worked, as we are, first and foremost, looking for a committed and motivated person, with the ability to work largely unsupervised, act on their own initiative, and make a broad contribution to the smooth running of our company.

The successful applicant will have a "hands on" and "can do" approach, and be willing to undertake a wide variety of work, ranging from the mundane to more challenging. There is considerable scope for a talented person with drive to grow this role beyond the initial remit, by taking on tasks for our clients such as quality control, content management and marketing/promotional campaigns.

The main elements of the roll will be:

  • Reception service, including handling telephone calls and greeting visitors
  • Dealing with suppliers to ensure that essential supplies for a smooth running office are maintained, and good value obtained.
  • Supporting the management and team with general organisation, travel, entertainment etc.
  • Basic book keeping, filing and office administration
  • Ad-hoc projects to develop and improve working practices
  • Ad hoc (non-technical) projects to assist our clients with website content, marketing campaigns and other issues that arise from time to time.

Additionally the applicant should have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • An interest and an understanding of the Internet
